Chicago Golf Resort

The Hilton Indian Lakes Resort is a premier Chicago Golf Resort. Early summer of 2007 Indian Lakes Resort and the Village of Bloomingdale struck a deal to exchange 35 acres of golf course, to allow for open space and flood plain control.  The plan also included a brand new 9 holes and a world class practice facility.  The golf course renovation is scheduled to begin October 1, and should be ready in time for Labor Day of 2008.
In the plan a 155-yard par 3 with an island green and a 615-yard par 5 with an elevated green.  The golf course is again being designed by Rick Jacobson, who also designed Blackhawk Trace.  The new 9 will mirror Blackhawk Trace, and should re-open around Labor Day 2008.

Accompanying the new design is a practice facility, with 48 stations of high-quality turf, target greens, a 10,000 square foot putting and chipping green, along with bunkers for green side practice and fairway practice.  The range should also be ready to open around Labor Day 2008.
