The most prominent feature in Grant Park is Buckingham Fountain, one of the largest fountains in the world. The design represents Lakes Michigan with four sea horses to represent the four states that touch the Lakes: Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. The fountain runs from 8:00AM to 11:00PM daily from spring to fall, and produces a major water display every hour on the hour for 20 minutes. At dusk, the display is accompanied by a music and light display.
